It's really simple, and it's not gonna drastically change the 'balance' of the game, especially since those pets are only good for utility and it's a damn PvE game lol. People aren't gonna waste a mod slot on that augment, and switch to Protea if they weren't already using her frequently to have a slightly better experience with non-Kavats/Kubrows.
